For these clients, a transitional interior needed enough drama to make an immediate impression without allowing the open floor plan to blur into one continuous space. Across this Aliso Viejo home, we layered materials, patterns, and textures while giving each area its own identity.

In the smaller seating area, framed wallpaper, tufting, nailhead trim, metal, faux fur, and a hide rug create a much more expressive mix. The dining area shifts to a tiled accent wall, dramatic drapery, and a structured cornice box.

Custom counter stools carry the detailing into the kitchen with rolled backs, nailheads, and decorative ring pulls. In the living room, custom built-ins add architectural interest and display space, while chairs in contrasting fabrics continue the layered approach.
