Lumera

After moving into this Irvine home, our clients wanted to freshen the interiors with a more contemporary direction. We used slate blue as a recurring accent, giving a few custom details enough personality to connect the spaces without making everything feel overly coordinated. At the staircase, a custom built-in bench upholstered in slate-blue velvet turned the area into a feature of its own.

In the dining room, the custom chairs were designed with different treatments on the fronts and backs, including blue fabric on the backs. Repeating related blue tones in the artwork helped connect the custom seating to the surrounding spaces.
