SEAL BEACH

Seal Beach, CAProject Description
Decorating a home with multiple seating areas on different levels is an interesting challenge, and is one that our interior design team eagerly meets, as in the case of this expansive Seal Beach home. In this home, the sunken living room is a room unto itself, so it must have a style of its own – without disrupting or clashing with the rooms so visible all around it. This is accomplished through neutral shades and dashes of blue brought in with couch pillows; the centerpiece of the room, though, has to be the two story decorative mantelpiece, which draws the eye from whatever part of the home one happens to be. The dining room is characterized by an oval drum shade chandelier above a sleek cocoa brown dining table, surrounded by muted taupe dining and head chairs. An eggshell color in the area rug contrasts beautifully against the deep brown of the hardwood flooring, while the cream colored floor to ceiling curtains compliment the blue-gray walls. The loft in this home features a glossy silver ottoman atop a pale blue & white area rug that is surrounded on 2 sides by a crisp white L-shaped sofa, and on another with a brown leather chair. The essence of this area is completed with dark wood furniture and grayish blue & white patterned curtains. Before & After Gallery
