This Irvine home needed a more elegant touch, which is where our interior designer stepped in. This project consisted not only of Interior Design, but of custom furniture and upholstery. Immediately upon crossing the threshold into this abode, an entry bench/ sofa is seem. This piece was custom designed to fit this space, and the diamond tufting and slate gray material make it an inviting site. To the right is the parlor, with a color pallet of deep blues, slate grays, and striking white. The textured wallpaper on the inset ceiling adds dimension, and ties this room together perfectly. The dining room features the same elegant color scheme as the parlor with an oval drum shade chandelier above an almost blonde-wood dining table, and a large set of mirrors on the wall, adding light and fashion to this space.In the kitchen, white marble counter and painted-white bricks add visual size to this already impressive chef’s kitchen, while dark wood on the island adds contrast, and orb lighting above the bar adds a modern twist. One of the most stunning aspects of this home would have to be the master bath. Featuring a glass shower, adjacent to a lavish marble-surrounded tub, this is a dream come true for starting your day, or primping for a night out. The dark wood on the vanities and the light marbled floor create a beautiful contrast; while the flowered wallpaper in the water closet creates a serene vibe. Combine all of these aspects with the neutral tones throughout the master bedroom, from the diamond tufted headboard, to the nail head lining on the faux-leather ottoman; and this home truly is a magnum opus for our designer.
