Project Description

The client was looking for a fun, energetic area to motivate and inspire the children they work with. The first decision to be made was the color palette which was inspired by the company's logo. I used greens and blues as the foundation with pops of yellow and orange. I also wanted to create an "at home feeling" within the space to bring the kids a since of comfort while visiting. One way we created this vibe was by utilizing an electric fireplace and fun accent chairs to create a cozy reading nook in the playroom. An array of shapes and patterns were used within the artwork and wall decor selections to add another element of interest throughout the space. One of my favorite spaces to design was the breakroom. We brought in a turquoise sofa, bold rug, custom laptop station and coffee bar that any employee would love to relax. Our goal is for every employee, child and family who enters into this business to feel happiness and comfort.
